Debunking Pseudoscience regarding Native DNA

Dr. Jennifer Raff recently gave an excellent lecture at Skepticon regarding Native DNA and the use of pseudohistory and conspiracy fetishism to promote outlandish claims about Native people. This lecture gives an excellent overview of strange beliefs and the pseudoscience surrounding false ideas.

Kurly Tlapoyawa is an archaeologist, author, and ethnohistorian. His research focuses primarily on the interaction between Mesoamerica, Western Mexico, and the American Southwest. Kurly has lectured at UNLV, University of Houston, and Yale University on topics related to Mesoamerica.
