The prison industrial complex, not satisfied with the profit it’s made from the incarceration of black and brown citizens through this country’s criminalization of drugs that target low-income and “minorities,” are now profiting from the incarceration of hard-working immigrants solely on the criminalization of citizenship status. And from the looks of it, it won’t be long before “anti-terror” legislation begins to target citizens for their political activities (something that’s already going on without much media attention).
The good people of this country and the world need to begin to take action before its too late. Quoting Martin Niemöller:
First they came for the communists,
and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a communist.
Then they came for the trade unionists,
and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Jews,
and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a Jew.

Decolonize your mind and stand up for human rights!
